Masterson’s Tavern , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, brands itself as a fashionable, contemporary hangout, but my recent visit at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I experienced behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The Condition of the Premises : Grimy and Abandoned
From the moment I stepped inside , it was immediately obvious that upkeep was not a priority at this establishment . The floors were sticky , and a pungent odor of uncleaned spills and neglected washrooms permeated the entire pub. Smelling a mixture of urine , putrefaction and a sickly smell. The serving zone , which should be the focal point of any pub, was overflowing with soiled cups and refuse that looked like it had accumulated over weeks. The restroom was in even worse condition — clogged , with a cracked flush mechanism and surfaces marked in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
It wasn’t just a isolated occurrence either. After reading through multiple accounts and speaking with locals , it seems that the state of cleanliness (or lack thereof) at this so-called establishment is a persistent problem . Many patrons have reported witnessing insects darting across the bar area and signs more info of rats in the basement . For a business that serves drinks , these issues are absolutely intolerable and raise serious concerns about the integrity of their products .

As I looked into it more , I was horrified to find numerous complaints against him involving predatory behavior , with multiple women alleging that he of harassing them digitally. His presence at the bar often appeared as that of a sweating predator than a welcoming host .
